National Silver Medalists

The UD Figure Skating Team qualified for the 2017 U.S. Intercollegiate Figure Skating Championships. The top 3 schools from each of the 3 sections in the country traveled to Miami University of Ohio in Oxford, Ohio. UDFS competed against the best 9 intercollegiate figure skating teams in the nation, fighting to defend their national title striving for a 5-peat. Every competitor put out their best effort and the team totaled 93 points for second place. Boston University took the title with 112 points. Adrian College took third place with 79 points. Other east coast rival, Dartmouth College, placed fourth with 46 points. UDFS has been on the national podium every year since the team's inception in 2000. They have held the national title 6 times and are looking to earn it back again next season.
